About
(aux) is a blog about business, technology and society. Started in 2009, (aux) has grown from a small project for a budding entrepreneur to a useful resource for entrepreneurs and students around the world. We post a variety of guides related to entrepreneurial advice, startup information as well as random factoids about new cars coming out and how to’s for computer-related issues.
Originating as a test project to see the demand for free resources for entrepreneurs, (aux) was founded by Akash Shah. He believed that entrepreneurs needed a central location for startup advice. As an intern for a top Silicon Valley CEO, Akash did extensive research in the startup fields and was able to gain insight and information on a variety of questions that many entrepreneurs face. However, Akash did not solely want (aux) to be a business blog. He wanted it to be something much more – a place where entrepreneurs can come for startup advice, a place where car enthusiasts can read about new information and the “car of the week,” and lastly where technology fans and health enthusiasts can come for useful advice as well. (aux) is more than just a simple blog, it is a platform where useful information can be given to everyone.
(aux)’s name comes from the Greek root aux-, which appropriately means to increase. Reading (aux) increases your knowledge!
