I’ve always been in awe of what car manufacturers think of year after year. A couple days ago, I was watching a commercial from BMW and came across an astonishing car that I believe can change automobiles forever. Imagine a car that resembles a human. A car that has “skin” and eyelids. Well, that is the BMW GINA.
Today Lexus officially revealed the Lexus LFA on its website. Unlike conventional Lexus automobiles, the Lexus LFA is a complete performance car. The LFA, which sprints from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.7 seconds, is equipped with a 552-horsepower 4.8-liter V10 engine and a six-speed automated sequential gearbox. Lexus describes it as “the pinnacle of the Lexus ‘F’ premium sports car series.” For those of you who aren’t car enthusiasts, that’s really really fast.
Many of you may know that the Frankfurt Motor Show was this last week. After looking at all the cars that were unveiled, I must say that the new Ferrari 458 Italia was the one car that stole the entire show. As the successor of the Ferrari 430, the 458 Italia has big shoes to fill. I believe that this new 458 is a a welcome return to form for Ferrari and ace stylists Pininfarina. We love the dramatic sculpturing around the doors and this simple rear-end that could only be Ferrari.
